A.J. Reed named SEC male athlete of the year

Kentucky two-way star AJ Reed and Florida softball standout Hannah Rogers have been named 2013-14 Roy F. Kramer Southeastern Conference Male and Female Athletes of the Year, in a voting by the league’s athletics directors, SEC Commissioner Mike Slive announced on Tuesday. “AJ and Hannah are true examples of outstanding student-athletes,” Slive said. “They have competed at the highest level of collegiate athletics, and through their hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence, have been successful in their endeavors.
